Prayer Campaign for the Dobbs Supreme Court Case

All members of the AOH and LAOH are asked to pray for the protection of life in our nation. In 2018 Mississippi passed a law protecting unborn children after 15 weeks of gestation, when the baby has a heartbeat, eyes that open, ears that hear, and can move and kick. The law was challenged and the case, known as Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health Organization, was heard by the Supreme Court. Dobbs v Jackson is a landmark case that could potentially overturn the decision of Roe v Wade. The possibility for future laws protecting the unborn hangs in the balance. Oral arguments for the case were heard December 1st. A decision is expected in June 2022. Any form of prayer such as individual, group, prayer chain, holy hour, rosary or parish Mass would be very appropriate from now until we, hopefully have a favorable decision from the Supreme Court. Some areas/groups are focusing on the 15th of each month to schedule their prayer petitions. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated. Someone in the division should take the lead on this and promote it.
