STAND UP FOR LIFE - Largest Pro-Life Event in Nassau & Suffolk County.
STAND UP FOR LIFE is on RESPECT LIFE SUNDAY ,
October 6, 2024 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. (rain or shine)
Long Island's largest Pro-Life assembly will line the sidewalks at two locations:
- In Huntington, standing east and south from the intersection of State Route 110 and State Route 25.
- In Manorville, on the sidewalk just south of Long Island Expressway Exit 70 on County Road 111.
The events at Huntington and Manorville Long Island draw hundreds of participants to this family friendly event.
We are standing up for the value of all human life, especially the lives of vulnerable preborn babies.
Additionally, we remind everyone witnessing this event, there are many pregnancy care centers on Long Island where women facing unplanned pregnancies can get the help they need to keep their babies.

NY State AOH/LAOH Food Drive
I have been working with Maura McSweeney (LAOH) to put together a "Backpack Program" (of food) for students and Families of the Cairo-Durham Central School District at the time of the Spring meetings. The Backpack Program supports students and their families who face food insecurity by sending home "backpacks" of food items. We have put together a "cover letter" of specifics and a Program Flyer. Please find both items attached.
I am in need of some assistance to send these out to State and County Board members, District Directors, Divisions Presidents and Officers. I would also like to have it posted on the State website.
Yours in Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity
