Veterans’ Diseases Associated With Agent Orange
VA has recognized that certain diseases can be related to Veterans’ qualifying military service; they call these “presumptive diseases.”
If you have not taken the time to have the Agent Orange test, there is no time like the present. As our Veterans get older, these things begin to show up. Better to have early intervention, or no need for intervention, than to have problems later when they are more difficult to overcome.
VA has recognized certain Cancers and other health problems as presumptive diseases associated with exposure to Agent Orange. Veterans and their survivors may be eligible for benefits for these diseases. They are:
Al Amyloidosis, Chronic B Cell Leukemias, Chloracne, Diabetes Mellitus Type 2, Hodgkin’s Disease, Ischemic Heart Disease, Multiple Myeloma, Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Parkinson’s Disease, Peripheral Neuropathy, Early-Onset, Prophyria Cutanea Tarda, Prostate Cancer, Respiratory Cancers And Soft Tissue Sarcomas.
